The Macon County R-4 school district will use alternative routes on Tuesday, May 2nd due to the road closure on State Highway 149 at Ethel. Please be ready by your normal bus time but also flexible as we may be slightly behind schedule (5 minutes).


Reminder: Tomorrow, May 2nd, is our Spring Concert. We encourage you to join us as Mr. Olsen and our students present Soundtracks of Spring: A Celebration of Music from Film and Television. Concert starts at 6:00 PM.

BMC Baseball vs. Madison tonight has been canceled. The game will try to be rescheduled at a later date.

We would like to congratulate the MCR-IV FFA Knowledge Team for placing 5th in STATE! They were recognized yesterday at the state convention for this accomplishment. Way to go Alexis, Bryce, Laina. Karli and Mr. Ray.
Congratulations to Ashlyn for being recognized on stage for Area Star Farmer, Beef Production Entrepreneurship Proficiency, Youth in Agriculture Scholarship Winner and State Degree. Great work Ashlyn.

Congrats to the BMC High School Scholar Bowl team for advancing to the top four teams of District play today in Bevier. Unfortunately they fell short to North Shelby in the semi-final match. Great job representing our schools this season.
We would also like to congratulate Laina B for earning a spot on the All District Scholar Bowl Team.






2nd grade artists went outside Friday to complete their interactive still life artworks. They added dandelions and other flowers and leaves to their vase drawings.
