12/27/2023- No basketball practices this morning due to weather.

First graders played "Hungry Hungry Reindeer" and enjoyed a few treats this afternoon!



What a beautiful day to play outside!

4th and 5th grade enjoyed the Christmas tradition of getting to build Gingerbread Houses for Christmas. A big thank you to everyone who donated candy for them!!! We had so much!!










It's one of our favorite traditions at MCR-IV, our annual pancake breakfast!
Thank you to Bretta & Rachael for organizing and to our Board of Education for serving. We even had a guest pancake maker. 🎅










Our Varsity Basketball teams will be playing in the Madison tournament Jan 2-5. See brackets below.


MCR-IV (and Bucklin HS) students enjoyed our annual career fair today. We also added a college fair for secondary students. 16 colleges were represented and around 20 careers. Many of our career guests were MCR-IV alumni, and friends and family members of staff and students.
A special thanks to all of our guests and those who helped make this day possible!










It's a tradition!

Biology class had fun building DNA candy models this morning. By studying DNA candy models, students can explore deferent genetic variations.







This morning for the Morning Meeting with Mrs. Busick elementary teachers sang some Christmas Carols after breakfast!




Congrats to both of our BMC Basketball teams on their road victories tonight at Madison! 🏀 Go BMC!



Fletcher Young was this year's "Best Design" winner for the Chariton Valley Awesome Artist contest. This a contest for all area 3rd graders to participate in. Fletcher's drawing will be featured in the 2024 Chariton Valley Telephone directory. He also received a trophy and $25 cash prize! Congratulations, Fletcher!



Some of the Middle School FCS students had fun making giant gnomes for the Winter Music Program!



8th Grade Ag students have been busy out in the shop making tool boxes. They learned how to operate the miter saw, jig saw, and drill press.
They wrapped up their projects this week!










We are very proud of all are Jr High and High School students for all their hard work they put into the science fair. Thank you to all the family and community members that stopped by to support them last night. Lastly, congratulations to our winners.










Hat's off to Mr. Olsen and the music department for job well done at the winter concert tonight! Thank you all for attending.


If you have made it to any high school basketball games this season, you probably noticed that we have added cheerleading back! Our BMC cheerleaders and their coach have done a great job cheering on the teams. Keep up the good work! Go BMC!



It got a little wild and crazy, but the winners of our Staff "Snowman in Your Pocket" game was Mr. Ray & Ms. Lindy!


7th Grade Ag Exploratory students have been working hard out in the shop testing out their skills with hand tools and making a box!
They wrapped up today with a lesson on staining.
