Food Science: Has learned about food preservation and made salsa
Ag Leadership: Working on speech giving, they had to choose a song and turn it into a speech
Ag Science II: Has been learning about entomology and working on insect collections
7th Grade: Is wrapping up a swine unit and learned how to read ear notches and then had to ear notch their own pig
Biology class investigated macromolecules by performing "Murder in a Meal" lab.
The baseball game tonight has been postponed. There will be a softball game ONLY starting at 5:00.

We would like to thank the Mount Zion UMC for treating the students to an ice cream treat. The students enjoyed it and we thank you for the support.
Congrats to Mrs. Lou Isaacson who was awarded a Dollar General Literacy Foundation Grant in the amount of $2,750 to be used in promoting literacy in our elementary classrooms. Great job Mrs. Isaacson!

Attention Junior High Basketball Boys & Parents from MCR-IV-----PLEASE READ:

1. When practice is at MCR-IV, practice will be from 4:00-5:30 (unless otherwise noted). Your child must be picked up right at 5:30 pm at MCR-IV school. Please arrive a few minutes early. Please also note that if you are not here at 5:30, your child will be required to ride the activities bus over to Bucklin and then return back to the school at 6:00 for pickup due to supervision issues.
*Players will be supervised at the school from 3:30-4:00 before practice begins.
2. When practice is at Bucklin, the practice times will be 3:45-5:45 (unless otherwise noted). Players will return to MCR-IV at 6:00 for pickup time.
