4th graders are kicking things off with a STEM/teamwork activity called Saving Fred. Mrs. Bell is happy to report that all students were able to put the life preserver on Fred and save him.😊

Macon County R-4 School is currently enrolling preschoolers for the 2025-2026 school year. Students must live within the district, be 4 years of age before August 1, 2025, and be up to date on immunizations. Parents may stop by the school to pick up enrollment forms Tuesday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or you may call the school at 660-226-5615 and request that the forms be sent to you.

Spring 2025 MAP & EOC results have been sent to Macon County R-IV. We will have these assessment results ready to share with families at our Open House on Thursday, August 14th from 6 - 7:30pm. Families of elementary students should see their child's homeroom teachers to obtain them and families of secondary students should stop by the main office. The MCR-IV FFA Alumni & Supporter group will be meeting on Sunday, August 17 @ 6:00 PM in the Ag Room. We encourage all parents of FFA members as well as community members who are interested in supporting our FFA to attend.
In light of new Missouri law that prohibits cell phones being used during the school day, Macon County R-IV is rolling out the use of locking phone pouches known as "Yondr" pouches this school year.
