This has been a very busy week for Macon County R-IV Band students!
Yesterday, members of the HS Band performed at the Central Methodist University Music Festival where they were awarded an “Outstanding” rating! Congratulations to Alexis, Bryce, Cecilia, Karli, Laina, Maci and Quincy for receiving this accolade.
Today, members of the MS and HS Band spent the entire day rehearsing with the TCC Conference Band. On Tuesday, these students will perform at Bucklin, Linn County and Meadville.
Congratulations to the following students: Alexis (1st chair trumpet), Bryce (4th chair trombone), Franklin (1st chair french horn), Grady (11th chair trumpet), Karli (10th chair trumpet), Kayla (5th chair trombone), Laina (6th chair trumpet), Maci (6th chair clarinet) and Quincy (1st chair percussion).
